Scott is outlined by the Minnesota River in the Minnesota River Valley, a 332-mile tributary of the Mississippi River. Over the years — especially in the previous decade or so— our communities have grown leaps and bounds, and we’re proud of how we come together to celebrate, collaborate, and create a well-loved place to call home. First inhabited by the Mdewakanton and Wahpeton Santee Sioux (Dakota) Indians, Scott is home to the sovereign Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux.
