First-Time Homebuyers Workshops

Calling all first-time homebuyers! The Scott County CDA provides First-Time Homebuyers Workshops to help prepare interested first-time homebuyers for homeownership. Participation in the workshop qualifies participants for 1 of 2 educational requirements for a grant and covers topics including Budgeting, Credit, Mortgages, Real estate agents, Home Inspections & Home Maintenance.

2025 Workshops will be held on:

• February 1 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• March 8 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (in Spanish)
• May 7 and May 8 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• July 30 and July 31 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
• October 22 and 23 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
